You Can Still Buy a PC with Windows 7.

Microsoft might stop vendors from selling Windows 7 this year.  Maybe.

Walmart and some other stores are still offering personal computers with Window 7. As you know, most new PCs now come with Windows 10, not 7 or 8.

But why would you want a Windows 7 PC? Is it any faster? Does it make better use of hardware? I don’t think so. If Windows 10 was not as fast, somebody would have said so by now. So why do some want 7 and not 10?

Because Windows 7 is more of a classic design for the screen layout. At least from the first screen tall you see. But it is possible to ‘customize’ the Windows 10 desktop screen to look more conventional.

Windows tip for you: Find somebody who has an almost new PC for sale and recently upgraded to Windows 10. Ask if they still have the license key used for Window 7. If so, you might buy that computer and get it to boot either Windows 7 or Windows 10 each time you turn it on.

You can Google and find ways to  legally have both Windows 7 and  10 on the same computer. It really is legal.

The above is from my computer, the same one I use to e3dit ;this blog. It is an old Dell Optiplex 520 with a 500GB hard drive that has three different Windows system on it. It is legal.
